We are a leading QLD supermarket chain with 6 stores across South East QLD. We supply fresh, local, high-quality food to the customers seven days a week.
We are currently taking applications Duty Manager, This position leads into to a department manager within the organization, so if looking for a career starter, this role is suited for you.
You will be required to promote and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service through personal example and direction whilst taking responsibility for our store.
This hands-on role will include:
- Supervising, inducting and training team members
- Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
- Juggling multiple things at once, motivating others and keeping calm under pressure.
- Serving and building relationships with customers
- Overseeing store operations, closing the store in the absence of the Store Manager
- The role is Full Time in nature for the suitable candidate.
- The role is on a rotating roster, including Weekends and Nights
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring stock levels are adequate, rotated, and department presentation is well maintained.
- Ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Learning every aspect of running a store
- Assisting store management in driving sales and achieving targets
- Help develop, guide and motivate a capable team of store staff of the highest quality and standard.
- Have experience in supervising people.
- Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable.
- Have good communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a successful national police clearance.
