We are a boutique firm based in the CBD focusing on Family Law, Commerical Litigation Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law.
Your duties would be reporting to the Principals, some of your responsibilities will include:
Reconcile Trust and General Accounts Bank Accounts
Accounts Receivable including billing and follow up
Accounts Payable/Disbursements including data input and payments
Managing all LSB and LIV requirements
Monthly and Quarterly procedurs including IAS,BAS with relevant reporting and liaison with external accountants.
Payroll & superannuation including some Human Resources duties
Annual Trust Statutory Reporting including report preparation and liaison with external auditor.
Monitor cash flow with reporting to the Principals.
Ad hoc reports for the Principals
Office management in all areas including liaison with external IT support.
Renumeration
An excelent renumeration package will be offered commensurate with the experience and skills the successful applicant brings to the role.
Skills and experience
To be successful in the role you will have 5+ years experience as a Legal Accounts/Bookeeper with:
- excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- top organisational skills
- a keen eye for detail a positive and professional work attitude.
The current Practice Management System is Practice Evolve.
Training will be provided for this system. If you have other system experience such as LEAP, that will be okay.,
