The Duty Manager is responsible for the overall care, hospitality and service given to our guest/s throughout their stay.The Duty Manager provides supervision of Front Office team members & oversees front office operations such as scheduling of shift, review work processors, daily communication & handover of shift monitoring at the front desk. Updating of department related programmes, guest/s activities will be prepared by the Duty Manager.The Duty Manager is responsible for the daily reporting of hotel figures and the assurance of accuracy in all reporting and data processing requirements. The Duty Manger will need to ensure that all work from the day has been checked and is accurate and correct in line with the hotel standards.

The successful Duty Manager will:
- Working overnights to ensure departmental revenue is posted and balanced accurately
- Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Reporting of the Night Audit function
- Prepare and deliver In Room Dining orders
- Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety by tight control of after hour's access to the property
- Be the first point of contact for all guest needs & issues
- Drive WHS initiatives with the Hotel, including first aid, and perform the Chief Fire Warden role when on duty
- Effectively communicate with all other departments including maintaining the daily reports, and driving the morning operation briefings for the hotel
Ideally you will have:
- Availably to work 5 overnight shifts (approximately 11pm – 8am) including weekends and public holidays – Essential
- 2 years previous experience in a the same position
- Strong experience with Opera
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate – Essential
- Senior First Aid certificate – Essential
- Valid Australian Driver's license – Essential
- Strong communications skills
- A customer service focus and enjoy leading a team
