Brady Hotels is a boutique hotel collection of four hotels and growing in Melbourne’s CBD. Our Hotels; Brady Hotels Central Melbourne, Jones Lane, Flinders Lane and Hardware Lane offer hotel rooms, studio apartments as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments.  Our service is highly regarded and reviewed by our guests and the locations put you right in the centre of the action, which attract leisure and corporate guests looking for either a short or long stay in Melbourne.

About the role – Duty Manager

We are looking for a team member that can WOW our guests as their priority, with a motivation to deliver the best service, a bubbly personality and excellent communication skills, which sets you apart from the rest.   

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Deliver service excellence, from check in to check out and everywhere in between
• Be the first point of contact for guests and visitors
• Provide guests and visitors with local knowledge from your vast array of knowledge regarding the neighbourhood attractions and amenities
• Support the Guest Service Manager in a wide variety of front office tasks, which will ensure that every day is different, including taking reservations and maintaining guest accounts.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Someone who goes the extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience with the ability to multitask
• The ability to work under pressure and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required
• Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation
• A passionate person who is able to make both their colleagues and guests smile
• Someone with apparent energy and a positive attitude, that they will bring with them to every single shift
• A genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guest’s smile during their stay
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Relevant experience within a service industry such as customer service or restaurant environments is highly regarded.
