The Venue

This is a well known, family friendly venue, with multiple restaurants, bar and gaming facilities. It’s working for a successful organisation who have an outstanding reputation in the industry and an impressive track record for the longevity of its senior staff across its venues, with the previous person in this role having stepped up into a Venue Manager/GM position.

The Role

As a Manager at this venue, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue, with a strong emphasis on F&B, service and managing the team. There is a lot of people management in this role! You need to be able to connect with, drive and empower staff members to get the best out of them. It’s a strong staff base of hard workers with good relationships, and working with the team will be a large part of this role.

Customer focused, you’ll be helping run multiple facets of this business, overseeing restaurants, bars, reception, gaming. You’ll interact with lots of customers, lots of staff – it’s a challenging role but one that will help launch your career to the next level.

The Person

Leadership! If there’s one thing that’s needed, it’s somehow who is comfortable leading teams, as that’s what you’ll largely be doing. A positive, open attitude, ability to connect and drive staff. This would be perfect for someone who is either a Duty Manager or  Assistant Manager looking for that next step.

Reward

The company is well known for looking after its staff, and the proof is in the longevity. It is offering a salary of up to $85K + Super + 5 weeks annual leave + 40 hours.
