With 42 stores and counting, and an ever-growing online store we now have an exciting new opportunity for an E-Commerce Executive to join our Web Team at James Lane and Sleeping Giant.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Promotions, to develop and execute the online trading strategy, driving conversion and revenue growth. You will manage the website operations and optimasation of the ecommerce site, recommending product features/functionalities. This role requires a strong understanding of online marketing, web analytics, and e-commerce technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all content is aligning to brand and pricing strategy, and merchandising is optimised to achieve targets.
- Managing the website operations and optimisation of the ecommerce site, recommending product features/functionalities.
- Managing the merchandising and display of products in line with brand positioning
- Partnering with the Merchandise Team to prepare for key periods – season launches, sales, promotions and other related activities.
- Utilising data to optimist on site experience, personalisation and conversion
- Develop Weekly reporting on site performance for each brand
- Work with key stakeholders from different brands – James Lane, Sleeping Giant, Elme Living, Shaw of Australia to deliver the requirements of each business
- Drive the best outcome using our tech stack to deliver a best in class ecommerce experience
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or similar
- Proven experience in a senior E-Commerce role within Retail
- Knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento2) preferred
- Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies that drive growth
- Strong technical skills to allow for first level trouble shooting in-house, and awareness of when to escalate to a specialist/third party partner
- Keen interest in evolving E-Commerce technology and developments, demonstrated through recommendations and a continuous improvement approach to product enhancements
