About The Role:
Pro West Electrical is a specialized provider of on-site Electrical services. Owned and operated in Australia, with extensive experience through the state of WA.

The role is based at our client's Lithium Refinery in Kemerton, WA and is offered on a permanent basis working a 4day week, 9.5 hours per day with competitive salary and benefits.
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is accountable for planned, preventative and corrective electrical maintenance tasks onsite or in field.
The role:
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician reports to the Electrical Supervisor and is responsible for:
- Conducting maintenance activities, inspection testing and calibration for fixed plant equipment and instrumentation in accordance with Company procedures and operating instructions.
- Fault finding, investigating and determining repair actions.
- Installing and commissioning modifications and design changes to control, instrument and electrical equipment in accordance with standards.
- The isolation of plant and equipment for maintenance purposes.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workmanship.
About You:
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies to be shortlisted;
- A WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
- A Certificate III or IV Instrumentation
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Electrical Standards and wiring regulations.
- Working at Heights & EWP
- Construction Industry White Card
- LVR CPR Training
The following would also be advantageous to your application:
- Previous experience gained within a complex fixed plant processing environment such as a chemical plant or refinery.
- An HV Switching Certification
- A Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Nationally Accredited Forklift License
