Access theAbout the roleThe purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for bariatric consumers/persons with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence based consumer/person focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.The Statewide Bariatric Surgery Service Co-ordinator is responsible for the coordination of complex interdisciplinary care to patients at a Statewide level across the continuum of care throughout their surgical journey and for coordinating the multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team to deliver an equitable service to patients across Queensland.About youYou will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following values within the context of the “Key Accountabilities”.
