The role
The Shire of Gnowangerup is looking for an enthusiastic, team-orientated person with very strong attention to detail for the role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)and Deputy CEO. This position is a busy but exciting and challenging role. You’ll be working a part of a motivated values driven team, who are focused on providing great service to the community.
Duties include providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and Deputy CEO, Co-ordinating Council functions and managing the CEOs and DCEOs correspondence and calendar. The successful applicant will also be responsible for preparing minutes and agendas for Council.
The requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to be well organized, able to cope with multiple conflicting deadlines and have a strong desire to help others. The person will also be responsible for organizing Council catering and be required to attend Council meetings.
Remuneration
This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis. A base salary (cash component) of $72,740 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate. 11% superannuation as well as an extra 5% co-contribution, out-of-communication facilities, 4 weeks annual leave with a 17.5% leave loading of 17.5% and clothing/uniform will be provided.
