Job description

We are growing! Our Brisbane team are seeking a passionate Early CareerOccupational Therapist to come on board and join our successful team, where we have fantastic team culture and dedication to career development. Clinicians with 0-2 years experience encouraged to apply.
  
The role involves:

  • Managing a caseload of participants and designing therapy programs to work towards achieving participant outcomes.
  • Assessing participants functional capacity including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment.
  • Using clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant centred goals specific to the client’s circumstances.
  • Providing best practice evidence-based support services that increase participants life skills and independence.
  • Conducting assessment and providing recommendations to successfully adapt environments for participants including the provision of assistive technology.
  • Diverse caseload across a wide age span and disabilities to promote growth and identify areas of interest.
  • Structured career development pathways.

About you:
  • Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration);
  • Early career or new graduate therapist;
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain);
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Excellent time management;
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving;
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach; and
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
