The Opportunity
As the Early Careers Lead you'll plan and execute the Early Careers strategic priorities including attraction, partnerships, recruitment, programmes and new agile projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Your energy and innovation in this space will be the key driver in championing our early career initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and programme deployment across all Early Careers pathways including work experience, intern, trainee and Graduate in Australia and New Zealand
- End to end recruitment delivery and campus engagement of all Early Careers pathways in Australia
- Planning, execution and Facilitation of the Early Careers Induction Programme (3 x cohorts p/year - Five day programme)
- Supporting all Early Careers in Australia post hire for up to 12 Months (role dependent)
- Point of escalation for the support of all Early Careers in New Zealand for up to 12 Months (role dependent)
- Serving as a subject matter expert, providing insight and support to HR Business Partners and Managers on a range of Early Careers placement queries (including performance concerns)
- Developing and maintaining an annual Project Plan that includes timelines, process, new hire tracking, spend and strategic initiatives.
- Budget forecast and spend tracking
- Recruitment Reporting and Analyses
- Event Management & Planning (Virtual, in-house and external) including careers fairs, information sessions and skills workshops
- Leadership Updates and Senior Stakeholder management
- Demand forecast and team utilization (hands-on recruitment support when needed)
- Project Management of Early Careers Initiatives including High School, Campus, Strategic Partnerships, diversity and participating in adhoc working groups
- Creating and drafting external and internal communication and visual guides (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Miro, Excel)
- Supporting the development and delivery of the learning and development initiatives. This will include facilitating events from time to time
- Supporting the wider recruitment team when time permits
About you
- Experience in the Early Careers space
- Excellent communication (Written & Verbal)
- Excellent coordination and project management skills
- Ability to lead and delegate.
- Adaptive and happy to be hands on in this small, fast pace team
- Event Planning and Facilitation
- Experience crafting communication for an external and internal audience
- Experience in the delivery of end-to-end Early Careers initiatives
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative professional relationships internal and external stakeholders as well as partners
