🙋 The Role

Due to strong demand and a stellar reputation with referrers and clients, we are experiencing team growth and are looking for a new graduate or early Career Neurological physiotherapists (mid year 2024 intake) with less than 3 years' clinical experience to join us at the following locations:

  • Forest Hill + Narre Warren
  • Narre Warren + Mount Eliza

This entry level position also provides a direct pathway through our Clinical Operations career pathway and advancement into our Advanced clinician levels without further interviews and opens up further career options!

We have multiple positions which are ongoing and permanent, and approximately 80% based in clinic with the remainder community visits in defined geographic catchment areas linked with your preferred site location. All sites have specialised equipment to enhance neurological recovery and have several staff members with a strong team based mentality to client care and learning. 

We prefer full-time but would be open to considering part-time of at least 3 days a week.

We are looking for:

  • Early career therapists looking to step into an advanced level of neurological physiotherapy with full wrap around support and structured career progression
  • New graduate therapists who have a strong interest and passion for neurological physiotherapy and are seeking to establish this as their chosen career path

 🔥The Program

Our new graduate and early career program is structured to support early therapists in key practical elements of clinical practice, which involves clinical reasoning, movement analysis and boot camp style workshops to increase confidence and translation into everyday practice. You will also be paired with a supervisor and clinical mentor throughout the program and be involved in shadowing, co-treating and assisting with other clinical projects. We also give you access to heaps of internal learning resources which are exclusive to internal staff members and team Connection Days each month that are dedicated to team and professional development. Over time your scope of practice will widen and deepen as you develop into a more experienced and skilled clinician!

✅ Our team is led by our Director who is passionate about making a difference and who is dedicated to the highest level of neurological physiotherapy. He has an international reputation and is a highly sought after clinical mentor. He has completed one year of the Neurology Specialisation Program of the Australian College of Physiotherapists, and is a previous instructor candidate in the Bobath Concept. He helps staff grow in their clinical and teaching skills, management and leadership. He is also a sessional staff member at Swinburne University, Victoria University and RMIT in their Masters program.

✔️ What you need

  • Current or upcoming eligibility for physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Valid driver's licence and access to roadworthy vehicle
  • Experience in neurological/disability/NDIS services or rehabilitation (desirable)
  • Experience in complex or niche health service delivery, equipment prescription (desirable)
