Job description

We are seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators (Diploma qualified) to work in the 1-2 year-old room in a modern purpose-built early learning centre next to Mitcham Train Station.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive above award salary (depending on experience)
  • Work for a service that exceeds two of the seven elements and has an ECT in every room

  • An innovative environment with the latest technology and teaching method
  • Working for a highly regarded, well-resourced early childhood education and care centre
  • An accessible and supportive leadership team
  • A positive workplace culture that is fun, professional and encouraging

About the role

We are searching for two Early Childhood Educators who would like to join a caring organisation and help support the Educators in the 1-2-year-old room. Having opened just two years ago, the 130+ place purpose-built centre is open from 6:45 am-615pm, Monday to Friday. Catering for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, the service also includes several funded kindergarten groups. Offering light and bright rooms with sizes ranging from a beautiful 12-place nursery through to larger pre-kinder and kindergarten rooms. The outdoor area is full of natural environments for children to explore.

The play-based and community-focused curriculum means that children will be supported to experience their local community through participation in excursions and incursions.

The location is super convenient, located right beside Mitcham Train station with frequent services and many bus routes too. This is a great long-term opportunity for a qualified candidate to join a passionate team permanently full-time.
