About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator join an inclusive and diverse work environment, assisting the lead teacher in managing a classroom of children who are of Preschool age (3-5). The role is full-time working during term-time only.
The Early Childhood Educator will:
- Manage up to 20 children per day with your colleague, ensuring the successful implementation of our play-based program
- Together with your colleague/s, you will be responsible for all room documentation such as program planning, journals, observations, learning stories and contribution to the Quality Improvement Plan
- Work with your colleague/s at implement the educational program involving planning and implementing learning experiences to promote children's development, evaluating, and keeping appropriate records
- Have a strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide an overall service that exceeds expectations
This role works Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm during term time only + 80 hours of vacation care during the non-term time period. This vacation care time is rostered to suit the applicant and the school's requirements.
About you
The successful applicant will be mature, vibrant, and a natural with children with a passion for Early Childhood education. They will also have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, as well as First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certifications.
You will ideally have at least 2-3 years experience working in Early Childhood.
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain a paid NSW Working With Children Check.
