Work Days of the Role Monday - Friday

Description John Street Community Early Childhood Co-operative is seeking a confident, enthusiastic and inspired Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic and supportive team. We are a 57 place, not-for-profit, community run centre with a focus on social and emotional learning delivered through a play-based emergent curriculum. We are looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator who specialise in the 0-2 age range and who also has the ability to work across all age groups The successful applicant will have: Experience working within the childhood sector Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent Current police check Level 2 First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate Working With Children Check Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework A value for community culture Leadership and time management skills Current knowledge of Child Safe Standards and the ability to create safe, support and inclusive spaces for children and families is a must.
