About the Role
YMCA WA is currently seeking a Casual Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team providing a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for our children and families.
Duties
- Record observations of individual children or groups
- Implement a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture, and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
- Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
- Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
- Create positive relationships with children and families and team members
- Experience working in a large Early Leaning Centre that is inspired by the teachings from Reggio Emilia

- Working in an organisation with unwavering focus and commitment to safeguarding children first and foremost in everything we do
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
- HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
- Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Enthusiasm, commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
