We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Qualified) to join our team at Kornmehl Pre-school. This is a part-time, permanent role working 2 days per week 8:00am to 4:00pm daily, Monday and Tuesday.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- To work as a member of a co-operative team in order to provide an appropriate high quality, educational program for the children within the Pre-school.
- Be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive educational program suitable to the needs and interests of the children in each age group at the Pre-school in collaboration with your team members.
- Be familiar with and understand the Pre-school’s philosophy, ethos and values.
- Be responsible for integrating Jewish Studies into the program and fostering a love of learning, a strong sense of community and a pride in their Jewish heritage.
- Complete educational observations and evaluations for your focus children as guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. (EYLF v2).
The successful candidate will hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and a valid WWCC. Ideally they will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role and be family with the Emilo Reggio philosophy.
