Toys2Learn, a leader in Educational Toys and learning resources, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our dedicated team as Retail Sales - Early Childhood Learning in our Local Adelaide Small Business. This exciting opportunity comes with a 3-month trial period and requires a candidate who is passionate about early years education, focusing learning through play for all ages and abilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Retail, NDIS and Educational customers in store, online and via email.
- Assisting all customers with answering their queries, providing product recommendations and providing high quality support
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends in child development
- Operate POS systems and manage transactions accurately
- Opening and Closing of the store
- Assist with deliveries, warehouse runs, and inventory management
- General admin, inventory management and operational duties
- Craft compelling online product listings to captivate customers and drive sales.
- Liaise with customers and marketing teams to enhance the online shopping journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement various strategies for the growth and development of the business
- Ensure the accuracy of product data across various platforms.
- Supporting the business owner with day to day management of administration tasks
- Implement promotional & visual merchandising initiatives
- Creative merchandising, store upkeep and inventory management
- Ability to work a set or rotational roster ( Occasional Saturday Work with No Sundays) ( Hours are 9am - 5pm)
- Working with Children's Check and National Police Clearance
- A valid driver's license
- Full Australian working rights
Requirements:
- Industry knowledge in Early Child Development highly recommended, experience in an educational role would be preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Word
- Exceptional communication skills with a solutions focused mindset
- Exceptional time management skills and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Being self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- A Passion for Customer Service and Management
Desirable Qualities (not essential):
- Experience with Salesforce, Shopify, and Lightspeed platforms
- Demonstrated experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of Social Media and Marketing Trends
- Experience with using Canva, Microsoft Publisher and Heyzine
- Experience in a B2B environment
- A strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude!
- Ability to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in retail highly considered
- NDIS knowledge and understanding
- Ideally, immediate start!
