Job Description:
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
- Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
- Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Cert III or Diploma qualification
- Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency Asthma management and Anaphylaxis training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
- Demonstrated ability to co-operatively contribute to and support a team environment and to work flexibly, both within rooms and according to the needs of the Centre.
- A thorough knowledge of children’s development and ability to observe, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate children’s programs.
