The Role: As an Early Childhood Educator at Explore and Develop North Ryde Public School, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Working collaboratively with a passionate team of educators, you will design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Planning and delivering educational programs that promote learning and development across all areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, respect, and open communication.
- Conducting ongoing assessments and evaluations to monitor children's progress and identify areas for further support and enrichment.
- Collaborating with families to support their involvement in their child's learning journey and foster a strong sense of community.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Demonstrated experience working in an Early Childhood education setting, with a strong understanding of the NQS and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for Early Childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs effectively.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
