anzuk is currently working with a small 70 place service located in the Mulgrave area, the service is a small community based service that is a home away from home, and are looking for an experienced ECT to come and join the family!
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an ECT to join a warm and supportive team !
As the ECT, you will be responsible for the running of the integrated 3-4 year old Kinder program and the care of up to 28 children in the room. You will be supported by 2 ECT qualified educators and management to provide the best program possible for the children. This is further reflected by the generous planning time provided by the service.
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you will have ideally be an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, in a similar role and must have a Bachelor Degree in Early Years Education or ACECQA approved equivalent.
In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and must have a team focused philosophy, as well as looking to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families.
The ideal candidate will hold:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA approved equivalent
- VIT registration
- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
- Full working rights
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Understanding and passion for working with children of different cultures
