A long day care centre that provides a nurturing, educational and fun environment for 0–6 year-old children. South Nowra Early Learning Centre works together as a collective group of passionate, professional and dedicated educators to provide a high-quality service to help children grow and feel confident for their future education.
We believe it is important for children to feel they belong in an environment, where they feel comfortable and proud of being themselves and can achieve their goals to become who they would like to be.

Working Times: Early Childhood Teacher
- Part Time
- Wednesday to Friday
Duties will include:
- Motivate and lead a team of educators.
- Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
- Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.
- Design and implement a vibrant curriculum where each child’s current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities, and interests are the foundation of a play-based program.
- Build a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Be innovative and creative.
- Uphold the centre philosophy and embed within your daily practice.
- Build trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Education Tertiary ACECQA Approved qualification or equivalent
- Approved Child Protection Course
- First aid and asthma/anaphylaxis training
- Solid knowledge of EYLF and NQS and put these into action
- Good IT, written and verbal communication skills
- NESA accreditation and working with children check
- Previous experience working with children 0 to 5
