The Role
Montessori Academy is currently recruiting for passionate, creative and dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to join either their Newcastle team. This is a great opportunity for Teachers who are passionate about Early Childhood education to make their mark, and take Montessori Academy's already outstanding educational program to the next level. This role is highly dynamic and creative, giving the right candidate the opportunity to deliver a truly inspiring early learning experience.
Key Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Understanding of the Montessori Philosophy
- Experience working with preschool aged children
- Passionate about implementing early learning programs
- Commitment to the holistic development of their class
- Degree in Early Childhood Education/Teaching (or ACECQA equivalent) or studying towards with a Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Current Working with Children Check
- Available to work Monday to Friday
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
- Commitment to the holistic development of their class
