Perioperative Services
Cabrini Perioperative Services is a vibrant and dynamic environment with 17 operating theatres including a Hybrid theatre, with an addition of 3 endoscopy rooms and 2 Cardiac Cath Labs spread across 2 levels in a spacious and modern facility equipped with advanced technology. Providing a full range of surgical specialties, with more than 1800 operations each month, every theatre and Cath Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide patient centred care. Our 3 day-of-surgery admission points focus on every patient having a positive experience with their admission to theatre, while our 3 Post-Anaesthetic Care Units and 2 discharge lounges cater for all specialist post-operative care requirements.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical ability and leadership experience within Perioperative Services. Our Clinical Operations ANUMs work together as a leadership team to ensure the smooth running of our busy Perioperative Service. The position incorporates: the organisation of staff allocations, rostering, Theatre equipment, booking of surgical procedures, and a sound understanding of how to run the Perioperative service. As a leader in our department, you will be a resource for your team, actively participate in quality improvement methodology to ensure a high standard of patient care and play a critical role in the daily running of the department.
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse/Associate Nurse Unit Manager with recent experience in Perioperative Services, who has an interest in continuing to further develop your own and your teams' skills to deliver excellent patient care.
You will also have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Victorian Working with Children Check
- Relevant Perioperative Services experience related to the Clinical Operations Role
- Demonstrated Leadership skills and a strong interest in developing teams
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
- Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
