KU Treehouse is a long day care service, located on Castlereagh Street inside the Stockland building. This vibrant center has a wonderful rooftop atrium that fills the room with natural light. The Children have immersed themselves in the play space amongst the leafy plants and formed a ‘secret forest’. The space is set up to be a natural environment with sandpits to dig in and water to play with. The service strives to be as sustainable as possible and limits the plastic materials within the service.
