About Us
Marjorie Mann Lawley Day care is a community-based, non-for-profit centre, and we believe the environment is the third teacher. The children's learning is embraced through their interests, even if this involves getting covered in dirt, getting wet or climbing trees.
We are a Reggio Emilia inspired service and our centre philosophy focuses on allowing the children to be children; play based learning, meaningful relationships, embracing each other’s differences and similarities, helping each other grow as individuals and environmental sustainability.
We believe that those working in early learning have one of the most important roles there is, which is why we are focused on providing a well-resourced and supportive workplace, and we are passionate about our high standards and positive culture. We have an additional educator in each room, high staff retention and a supportive leadership team. We keep the paperwork to a minimum so that you can focus on the children, and we embrace and respect everyone's individuality, cultures, values and beliefs.
