Who we are:
Explore & Develop Conder is a beautiful service conveniently located close to Lanyon Marketplace.
Opened in March 2023, we are building a wonderful community of families, community partners and team members that we are looking to grow in 2024.
Explore & Develop is a collaborative group of privately owned Early Childhood education services well established in NSW, and this is our first Service in the ACT. Our team benefit from a direct relationship with the service owner and best-practice research, support and training from the highly experienced network.
In addition to ongoing professional development programs and career advancement opportunities, team members also receive access to our Employee Assistance Program, which offers confidential counselling and support.

Explore & Develop Conder is owned by Su Garrett, an Early Childhood professional renowned for her expertise and deep commitment to keeping children at the centre of their own learning experiences.
Su is also the owner of Explore & Develop Annandale (NSW), one of the handful of services across Australia to be awarded the rating of ‘Excellent’ by ACECQA. It achieved this rating for its collaborative partnerships, positive workplace culture and high-quality practice and environments. Su aspires to build the workplace, practice and partnerships of Explore & Develop Conder with the same high-quality and collaborative approach.
Nominated Supervisor, Sharon Mathers, is a highly experienced professional with more than 30 years in the sector. Sharon cultivates teams who are committed to providing inspirational places for children, innovative spaces for learning and inclusive thinkers with a spirit of respect for inclusion and the rights of children.

- Experience in the Early Childhood sector
- A genuine interest in nurturing the educational development of children
- ECT Qualifications – you will currently hold (or be working towards achieving) your Degree
- A current Working with Vulnerable People Check (ACT)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactivity and a positive can-do attitude
