Hunter Early Childhood Centre is a community owned and not-for-profit organisation providing quality education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Supported by the board of directors, HECC works to provide a quality long educational day care and pre-school to families in Newcastle in a safe and secure environment that focuses on family partnerships, child centred practices and overall wellbeing initiatives.
About the role
We are currently seeking a part-time position for an ECT, to come on board to support our continued growth as a service.
This person will work in collaboration with our supportive team of educators in the preschool room to support the service and strive for excellence.
If you have a positive attitude, dedicated and passionate about Early Childhood, flexible and wanting to come on board with Newcastle's longest operational childcare service, we would love to hear from you!

Skills and Experience
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of the NQF, and Early Years Learning Framework 2.0
- Recognised Bachelor in Early Childhood and Education
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Child Protection Certificate
- Positivity and professionalism
- A verified WWCC
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced Educators.
- An all-rounder with the focus on positive child and family relationships
- Flexible and reliable team member
A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.
