Job description
Haileybury’s Berwick Campus are currently inviting applications for the role of Early Learning Centre (ELC) Educator. The position being offered is a Permanent Part-Time position, 20.25 hrs a week (3 full days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) commencing on 15 April 2024.
The Role:
The primary responsibility of an Educator is to work alongside the Lead Educators of the Early Learning Centre (ELC). The Educator assists with documentation and planning requirements that promote each child’s engagement and development.
Key Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will be an outstanding ELC Educator, and on top of the Key Selection Criteria listed in the Position Description, the successful candidate will require the following skill set:
Required:
A Diploma of Children’s Services or above
Current Full First Aid certificate – including CPR
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
Demonstrated experience as an Educator
A sound understanding of the Education and Care National Law and National regulations
Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
Highly Desirable:
Experience of working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background
