We are seeking an experience Early Learning Co-Educator. This position is a full-time, 12 month Parental Leave cover role.

Ruyton Early Learning is rated exceeding in all seven areas of National Quality Standard and is influenced by the work and research of Reggio Emilia. Ruyton Early Learning caters for children 3 to 5 years of age in a preschool Early Learning environment.
This role requires the Co-Educator to work during the School Holidays.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience providing high level care of children.
- An active interest in and commitment to the education of young children.
- Demonstrated understanding of current theory and research relating to Early Years Education, particularly working within the EYLF and VEYLDF.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of National Quality Standards.
- Interest/knowledge in the educational project of Reggio Emilia Practice and Principle.
- Excellence in engaging with children and providing stimulating, nurturing and creative learning environments and experiences.
- Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of learning programmes to extend and cater to the needs of all children.
- Ability to work collaboratively and assist in assessments and observations of student learning.
- Technologically literate – Microsoft Office, iPad, Storypark and Xplor (desirable).
- Diploma of Children’s Services (minimum level of qualification).
- Knows and upholds the current Department of Education and Training (DET) regulations.
- Holds and maintains current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management accreditation.
- Holds and maintains a current Working with Children Check.
- Child Safety Training, including Mandatory Reporting provided by the school with our provider CompliSpace.
