Education and Care Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.
About the role:
We are currently seeking two temporary part time Early Years Support Service Educators to join our team. You will be responsible to execute the functions of Early Years Support Services including centre based supported playgroups, mobile supported playgroups and Early Years Support Service borrowing van. You will provide a service for families in the Campbelltown LGA that links families to Long Day Care and early intervention services and work alongside EYSS and education and care services to achieve project outcomes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key qualifications, training skills and attributes:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate specific evidence-based and non evidence based programs across all streams of EYSS to meet funding targets and outcomes.
- Provide professional support, information, input and resources to families and children in the local community.
- Provide literacy and play experiences to groups and individual families that are culturally and linguistically appropriate with consideration to individual children’s developmental stages and needs.
- Advise Council’s Early Years Support Service Supervisor of any issues relating to the service.
- Assist Early Years Support Service Supervisor with monitoring the operation and administration of EYSS.
- Collect and maintain relevant data for funded reporting requirements in meeting project targets and outcomes.
- Certificate III or Diploma qualifications will be considered.
