Earthworks Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to influence and drive positive leadership to our dynamic teams of plant operators, enabling them to meet safe productivity, cost, and quality requirements to achieve targets within our rehabilitation operations.

As the Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager and Site Administrators and become the main point of contact when the Site Manager is off site. Build and maintain relationships with other internal and external key stakeholders to ensure the coordination and completion of rehabilitation tasks within scope, time frame and budget.

The role is based in Collie, WA on a 2:1 DIDO Roster..

• Assisting with the co-ordination and completion of projects on time
• Understanding of and executing the works required from the approved scope of works. 
• You will assist in preparing and presenting reports to customers and the Cardinal Contractors Management Team on agreed intervals.
• Liaise with internal and external contractors and client, to ensure all expectations and requirements are completed efficiently and on time. 
• Assist in ensuring resource availability and allocate personnel accordingly to ensure smooth operation during the duration of the project.
• Provide advice, guidance and direction to a large and diverse team of established employees.
• Hands-on role where you will be directly involved in operational issues.
• Ensure all key targets are achieved in a safe and cost-effective timely manner.

• Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation projects 
• Demonstrated experience in supervision (FIFO) in a mining environment.
• Work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Committed to building a strong team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Conflict and resolution skills.
• Commitment to safe working practices and knowledge of WHS practices.
• Dozer experience (preferred).
• National Police Clearance (not older than 3 months).
• Ability to pass D&A screening pre-employment medical.
