Ecg Technician - Part Time (12 Hours Per Week)

An excellent opportunity exists for a candidate with a passion for providing exceptional patient care to join our Western Cardiology team.

Western Cardiology is a large, privately owned practice with multiple service locations throughout the Perth metropolitan and regional areas.

We are currently looking for an ECG Technician to work at our Applecross practice.

Hours: 8.30am to 12.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday (3 days).

Brief Summary of responsibilities:

1. Performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) on clinic patients. (Alert clinical staff to adverse findings).
2. Apply and remove Holter Monitors.
3. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
4. Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and patient care.
5. Must be reliable, punctual and professionally presented.
6. Possess excellent communication skills.
7. Current CPR certification.
8. Housekeeping tasks including maintenance, cleaning and preparation of equipment and consumables. (cleaning must be of a high standard).
9. General Administrative Duties.
10. Ensure work performance and conduct is of a professional level at all times.

Previous experience/knowledge in health care is desirable, however we are happy to train the right person.
