Barneys Salon Supplies presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced eCommerce and Shopify Specialist to join our team.

You will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end eCommerce operations for our main wholesale beauty business, as well as managing our B2B beauty businesses which will include enhancing our online stores, marketplace avenues and product portfolios.

As a confident and experienced eCommerce lead, your knowledge and insights will be highly valued surrounding efficiencies, solutions, and data analytics to optimise inventory management and drive strategic planning from a business and eCommerce perspective. Therefore, your key strengths will encompass strong analytical and reporting skills, backed by initiative to map, and source solutions with substantial understanding and experience within the Shopify eco-system.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will also play an integral role in assisting the marketing team and its goals. Your experience will help to influence and optimise the online user experience, as well as assist in mapping and building the automation side of our Hubspot CMS foundations and database to help drive greater conversions. 

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Website maintenance and optimisation of three websites, including our B2B and B2C sites

• End-to-end inventory management including product listings, barcode maintenance, inventory, pricing, and promotions

• General website maintenance and updates including price adjustments, content updates, product tag maintenance and more

• Assist in search-based marketing initiatives including SEO and SEM

• Develop and/or enhance the online customer experience to drive sales conversions working closely with the marketing team

• Management and maintenance of the customer database and CMS system using Hubspot

• Assisting the marketing team with the execution of product promotions and pricing

• Help to manage landing pages, blog platforms, website merchandising and sorting rules

• Analysing and reporting on sales and marketing activity across all channels and platforms whilst completing monthly KPI reports and presenting to the team

• Working closely with our warehouse team, positively and proactively resolving system issues

• Consult with third-party vendors to manage website and inventory apps

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Solid experience in using Shopify Plus, Hubspot CMS or similar, Microsoft Office and Google Analytics. Proficiency in Excel would be advantageous

• Solid experience and competence in eCommerce website administration and maintenance 

• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in building reporting dashboards and delivering reports to stakeholders

• Experience and knowledge of Inventory management systems. Knowledge in using CIN7 would be advantageous.

• Understanding of and an ability to create website product content to maximise SEO

• Sourcing and managing the product image database

• Organisational and time management skills to work across multiple projects

• Resilience to deal with conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities

• Experience in Photoshop or Adobe Suite advantageous

•  Attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely

• An initiative-taking and forward-thinking mindset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Previous experience in the beauty industry would be advantageous
