The RoleReporting to the Strategic Pricing Manager, the
Economic Modelling Analyst is responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality price, revenue, customer and economic impact modelling. This role will provide assistance as required on projects and initiatives across the broader Pricing and Regulation team.This will be achieved through:
- Undertaking financial and pricing modelling including assessing impacts on various customer groups.
- Preparing briefings, reports and submissions on various regulatory and industry reform issues.
- Contributing to preparation of annual regulatory accounts and Corporate Plan.
- Development of demand and revenue forecasts in consultation with the retail companies/ developer forecasting.
- Reviewing and analysing alternative price structures.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract until September 2025.
Your Skills and Experience- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to be a lateral thinker
- Experience with large Excel financial models and possess advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience within a large and complex commercial corporate environment
- Experience working in a regulatory environment, the water industry, other utilities or infrastructure is desirable.
