We are seeking a a vibrant and enthusiastic Education Assistantwho loves working in an interesting and engaging environment.
Queen of Apostles School is a co-educational school catering for 260 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Strong and effective relationships exist between home, school and parish. We strive to instill in the students the values of Faith, Resilience, Respect, Compassion and Excellence.
This is a temporary part-time position (0.8 FTE) commencing 13 May 2024 and concluding 31 December 2024 with a high possibility of continuing next year.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will:
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Display a committed and enthusiastic approach to working with children, with the ability to develop positive and constructive relationships.
• Work positively with teacher direction, as part of a dedicated, collaborative and enthusiastic team.
• Possess good time management skills.
• Exhibit a friendly, open and approachable manner and be supportive of the Catholic Ethos.
Qualifications Required
• Certificate III or IV in Education Support.
• Current Working With Children.
• Current Police Clearance.
