The school seeks an enthusiastic, experienced Special NeedsEducation Assistant committed to student learning who is prepared to be part of a collaborative, highly motivated and professional staff working together to provide a broad educational program that is responsive to current understandings of teaching and learning.
This is a temporary part-time position (0.8 FTE) commencing 29 April 2024 and concluding 31 December 2024.
St Paul's School Karratha is a double stream co-educational school with 400 students from Kindergarten – Year 6. The school was established by the Presentation Sisters in 1978 and today continues the charism of their founder Nano Nagle. We have a s trong relationship with St Paul's Parish and our school priest, Father Tai. Our supportive staff are focused on continual growth to improve student learning.

• Have the necessary qualifications and/or experience.
• Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Establish and maintain an attractive and nurturing environment.
• Be an organised staff member who shows initiative, flexibility and display a positive outlook.
• Be competent with the use of ICT strategies and be able to integrate them in the teaching and learning program.
• Have the necessary Accreditation to work in a Catholic school.
• Support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
