Education & Care Practitioners
Lady Gowrie is seeking Certificate III & Diploma qualified Education & Care Practitioners for our Acton Service. Lady Gowrie is a non-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 5 years of age.

Location: Acton Park
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Part-time & 9-day Fortnight roles available
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Education and Care Service at Acton is licensed for up to 78 children per day across 4 rooms and offers free onsite parking for staff. We have a new building built for purpose with all rooms opening out into a beautiful outdoor space towards what we call the Paddock Room, used for nature play.
As part of the role, you will:
- Develop and implement exciting programs for children to spark wonder, investigation, connections, and possibilities!
- Interact with and supervise children.
- Lead and mentor educators that are studying their Certificate III and Diploma in Early Education
- Ensure a safe environment for children and your team.
- Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with our families.
- Provide regular documented observations on learning and development.
ABOUT YOU
- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
- Be actively working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Value and understand the importance of family communications.
- Have Strong, respectful, and open communication skills.
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Child Related Activity)
- Police Check
