Seeking a 360 Recruiter who will work within our newly established Education Division in our Gold Coast based QLD office. With 22 years of Education Recruitment experience as an organisation, we feel the time is right to expand our offering into the Queensland Education sector.

Tradewind QLD Office is following in the footsteps of our 12 UK locations and Australian head office in Melbourne with an expansion of our current recruitment offering into the QLD Education market.
We are therefore seeking an experienced and motivated recruitment professional to work with us in developing this expansion project and making Education Recruitment a succesful division within the QLD office.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management and Recruitment
- Owning (and forming) relationship with schools through sales calls, email contact and service visits.
- Vacancy qualification with schools as well as prioritising vacancies and running full process on advertising and marketing them to our candide pool or potential candidate pool.
- Pre vetting and qualifying suitable candidates for all vacancies across nursery, primary and secondary education.
- Supplying shortlists of candidates to schools within agreed time of an active role being placed
- Placement admin (including interview confirmation, new starter emails, any related recruitment checks, invoice requests to payroll.)
- Work and form relationships with clients to know who they are, how they operate and better understand their hiring needs, job specifications and talent strategy
Candidate Management
- Managing the candidate journey through the application process to successful placement.
- Resource and use multiple recruitment tools to source teachers and assistants for all client schools.
- Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview and manage candidates throughout interview process from interview preparation to assisting with final offer negotiation.
- Ensuring additional candidates are entered onto the CRM system in order to create a future candidate pipeline.
- Providing feedback to candidates during the recruitment process.
- Providing post placement feedback to candidates
- Maintaining and managing candidate communication (including interview confirmation, new starter emails, extensions and end dates)
- Developing relationships with candidates with a view to gaining loyalty and candidate referrals
Business Development
- Identifying staffing needs within QLD schools and developing new clients and relationships within the QLD Education sector
- Making introductory calls and contact to prospective schools within QLD
- Securing and attending visits at new schools to gain insights in to staffing requirements, develop relationships and contacts and secure work.
- Preparing, sending and following up proposals and service agreements for schools.
- Maintaining ongoing regular (probably minimum monthly) contact with prospective school contacts.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Sales and Business Development Experience
- Sound knowledge of the Queensland Education Sector
- Ability to create and deliver proposals to clients including negotiating pricing and terms of business.
- Excellent telephone manner and verbal and written skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Recruitment experience including the full 360 recruitment process.

- Team player and working within a team environment to deliver exceptional customer service to both candidates and clients.
