We are a warm and welcoming family who are seeking a dedicated and caring full-time nanny to join our household. As parents running an online business and working from home, we need someone who can help us create a nurturing environment for our 8-month-old baby while managing light household tasks efficiently.
About the Role:
We are open to either a full time or part time arrangement from Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be between 7:30am-3:30pm with some flexibility from time to time to cover additional hours, which will of course be paid.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care to our 8-month-old baby, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the baby and family.
- Handle weekly online grocery shopping and maintain an organised kitchen.
- Perform light household tidying (we have a cleaner as well so no big jobs or bathrooms required).
- Running of small errands such as dropping packages to the post office.
- Assist with baby's laundry and ensure clothing is clean and neatly stored.
- Change and launder bed linen regularly.
- Engage in developmental activities and playtime with the baby.
- Maintain a clean and organised play area and nursery.
- Communicate effectively with parents about the baby's needs and daily activities.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
- Genuine love for children and a nurturing personality.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Full Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to multitask and manage household duties efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Non-smoker and pet-friendly.
