Recruitment Consultant

Our company offers a range of recruitment and labour hire services specialising in the aviation sector and related activities involving logistics, warehousing, and transport sectors. We develop a thorough understanding of our client’s business enabling suitable preselection and agility on a day-to-day basis, 24 hours, 7 days per week.

Due to current growth in our business, we are looking for a 360 Recruitment Consultant based in Brisbane to support our clients. You will be instrumental in identifying and engaging with the right candidates for our clients and building strong relationships with both employees and customers on the ground.

About the role:

• Screen potential candidates; sifting through CVs and conducting telephone screens
• Conducting candidate interviews, walk throughs, start-ups, inductions and toolbox talks
• First point of contact and escalation to both candidates and customers, providing timely and responsive service to their needs.
• Manage large volume of vacancies and on-hire staff
• Developing positive and professional relationships through regular contact and site visits
• Growing the Brisbane portfolio within both existing and new client sites

About you:

• Experienced Recruiter with Sales/Operational background in a blue-collar industry
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills (with candidates, clients and colleagues)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment, where priorities change quickly
• Results orientated - proven success record of achieving service and revenue objectives
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines whilst multi-tasking
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, personally motivated and ambitious

We offer a competitive salary based on skills and experience and regard every member of our team as part of the family. This role is Monday to Friday and working hours can be flexible for the right candidate. No two days will be the same and you will be required to work from either our office location or onsite at our various blue-chip aviation client locations in and around the airport.

All applicants must have their own licence and transport and be willing to undergo a background check to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
