Only About Children Balwyn NorthOnly About Children Balwyn North is a warm and inviting childcare centre with three dedicated outdoor play spaces, featuring sandpits and climbing equipment where children have plenty of space to explore, create and lead their own play. Each space is dedicated to a different age group with designated areas for Nursery, Toddler and Kinder children. Our four age-based indoor spaces have been specifically created to encourage children in their learning and growth, with a focus on safety and natural elements.
About the Role
The Educational Leader has an influential and important role in inspiring, motivating and also challenging or extending the practice of educators. The role is a collaborative one, involving inquiry and reflection, which can significantly impact on the important work educators do with the children and their families.
This role will see you working in a blended role on the floor and off the floor, dedicating time to supporting the teams in enhancing educational practices, guiding and mentoring educators, and working in partnership with the leadership team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Early Childhood Teacher or equivalent approved teaching qualifications and registration
- Minimum 2 years (or equivalent) demonstrated leadership experience
- Team-based, hands-on, collaborative approach to your practices
- Ability to communicate and connect with families
