We are seeking dynamic full-time Pedagogical (Educational) Leaders to help us continue with the provision of mindful and holistic education and care, for our QV (Melbourne CBD) centre.

Here are the things you need to get started for this role:
- Bachelor of Teaching / Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA assessed qualifications or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge and experience, and within that time must have had 2 years experience as an Educational Leader.
- Experience in or knowledge of working in an exceeding service.
- Current working with Children Check.
- Current Police Check.
- Current First Aid and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
- Advanced knowledge in NQS, EYLF / VEDYLF, practice principles and reflective practices.
- A pleasant, positive, self motivated, proactive attitude, with the ability to motivate others.
In addition to the above you will also need to be willing to do, or able to demonstrate the following:
- Work on the floor with educators, role modeling pedagogical solutions.
- Establishing best practice, demonstrating and embedding Aurora’s Philosophy & Curriculum.
- Be a practitioner and promote mindfulness and meditation practice.
- Providing strategies to support educators in developing their skills and understanding with behavioral & additional needs within the rooms.
- Must be keen to further their own development through research & self study.
- Should have demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond the expectations of the role.
- Carry responsibility for the service’s success in the community, developing strong relationships with local government, schools.
- Driving the growth of the service through the QIP and ensuring that it’s kept compliant and current at all times.
- Strong communication, with verbal and written skills to support educators in their learning process.
- Strong understanding of Aurora’s Policies and Procedures.
As an Aurora Educational Leader, we will support you to:
- Develop and help implement a high quality educational program in collaboration with the Studio Leaders and Leadership team
- Continually reflect and implement strategies to improve the educational program in the service
- Conduct audits and analyse data to ensure consistency amongst services
- Mentor and share knowledge to educators through trainings, meetings, presentations and online collaboration tools
- Collaborate with centre managers to provide professional development plans for educators both individually and service-wide
- Participate in innovative and exciting projects
- Support Aurora’s Marketing Team to produce written articles that demonstrate the Aurora pedagogy
