About the Centre/Service Tootgarook Preschool was established after a group of local mothers saw a need for Early Childhood Education in their community. Banding together, they began fundraising by catering for events, and after years of dedication and commitment, Tootgarook Preschool officially opened in September 1974. Tootgarook Pre-School continues to play a vital role in the young lives of our local community. We respect and appreciate the knowledge and commitment of our local families, who are still managed by a parent committee to this day. We are situated beside Tootgarook Primary School, close to local businesses and national parks, and a short walk to the beach. Our preschool offers a high-quality and innovative program for 3- and 4-year-olds, and passionate and enthusiastic educators facilitate it. Here at Tootgarook Pre-School, we respect and support the role of parents and families in providing the best educational programme for their children. Tootgarook Pre School acknowledges that we meet, work and play on the land for which the people and elders of the Boon Wurrung/Bunurung people, members of the Kulin Nation, are the traditional owners and custodians of the land which we meet. Hours of Work of the Role 5 hours per day, 9:00am - 2:00pm
Description Please note this is a fixed-term position until the end of Term 4. Tootgagrook Pre School currently has a position available for an additional educator position to assist the Current ECT and Educator in our 3-year-old Bilbies group. Attendance is required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
