The Centre

A beautiful medium-sized early childhood service located in Kahibah in Newcastle is seeking two passionate Room Leader's to lead a wonderful team on a permanent basis in the preschool and toddler age group. This exceptionally designed centre offers modern outdoor, and indoor learning environments that encourage children to explore, discover and learn. Operating between the hours of 7.00am - 6.00pm, this family-owned centre provides so much opportunity regarding career progression and benefits, and is a wonderful service to continue to develop your leadership skills whilst guiding a dedicated team of Early Childhood professionals!

The Role

• Permanent position working up to 37.5 hours per week, potential for reduced hours and days depending on your preference
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide quality care and education for all children in care
• Develop and deliver educational programs that foster children's development, incorporate children's interests and support learning outcomes for children in-line with the EYLF
• Create meaningful relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Provide a safe and supportive enviornment whilst ensuring practice is in-line with NQS, centre policies and procedures

About You

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-equivalent or actively working towards)
• NESA Teacher's Registration (if applicable)
• A current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
