We are looking for committed casual educator to support children at our OSHC services at Malabar.
Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 60 NSW Schools, they provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you’ll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure our services stay the very best they can be. You’ll work closely with the children (and their parents), sharing your wisdom, support and passions with them to help them grow.
This isn’t your typical 9-5 role – and if you bring the dedication, focus and commitment, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a career in education, where you can build a schedule that works for you. So if you’re excited by the opportunity of a promising career creating meaningful opportunities for young people who need them, you’ll almost certainly learn a thing or two yourself.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current First Aid, CPR and Working with Children Check - Essential
- Experience interacting and supervising children - Essential
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care - Desireable
- CHCPRT025 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Desireable
