"Warrawee Park Preschool is a community based, one-room kindergarten. We have a large playroom for the children with a range of building, artistic and creative, literacy and numeracy activities. Our exceptionally large yard offers a sandpit, swings, climbing fort and bridge, monkey bars, a flying fox, a bike track with runs the circumference of the yard, a mud kitchen, gazebo, hopscotch and stage all surrounded by many trees and plants. There is also an undercover area which is frequently used for building and art activities outdoors."
Available positions
Morning Shift Diploma Educator
- Roster -Tue & Thu - 8.15 am to 1.45 pm
- 11 hrs per week - Co-educator (Diploma minimum) - $26.87 to $27.68 per hour, subject to experience, including paid leave over term breaks
- Start date - Monday 15 April or soon after
Afternoon Shift Diploma Educator
- Roster -Tue & Thu - 11.30 am to 4.30 pm
- 10 hrs per week - Co-educator (Diploma minimum) - $26.87 to $27.68 per hour, subject to experience, including paid leave over term breaks
- Start date - Monday 15 April or soon after
General information
- Options to work in other near-by kindergartens as well, or for more flexibility, join our relief team to increase your hours and pay, helping to relieve educators at our other kindergartens in the area
- Support for placements if you are studying for your teaching qualification
- VECTEA pay and conditions, including 10 weeks paid leave over the term breaks and summer holiday

- Are you an experienced & diploma qualified Educator or ECT student
- Have you had experience working with 3 and 4 year old children, including children with additional needs?
- Do you have the practical expertise to scaffold and document children's learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
- Are you highly skilled in writing observations and learning stories, and using StoryPark?
- Can you contribute to a highly professional, achievement oriented, child-centred, friendly team
- Do people describe you as positive and energetic?
- Are you seeking part-time work with paid time off over the term breaks?
