Hours: Permanent Part-Time (minimum of 25 hours per week)
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 3.1 to Level 3.4 depending on qualifications and experience - $27.49 to $30.07.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR holds an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
- Experience working with children with additional needs would be a bonus
- Effective workplace communication skills
