Educator Traineeship

The Team:One Tree Defence Unit Little Geckos is located at the RAAF Base Tindal NT, just 15 km from Katherine. The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  

The Role:

Embark on a thrilling journey where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future, as you discover and amplify the unique strengths within children and your team members, creating a vibrant tapestry of growth and inspiration. In this dynamic role, you'll be the architect of meaningful relationships, connecting deeply with peers, families, and children, and weaving a network of support and joy. Your expertise in the Children's Services Regulations, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the National Quality Standards (NQS) will be the cornerstone of our collective success. With your passion, enthusiasm, and a zest for fun, you'll ignite a spark of curiosity and joy in our community, making every day an adventure in learning and discovery.

• Working Towards a Certificate III Qualification
• Current Ochre Card & Police Check
• Strong advocacy for children and their inclusion 
• Self motivated, go getter who is passionate about learning new things
