Conveniently located at Star of the Sea Primary School, our service has been operating in the community for over 10 years. We provide care for up to 75 children from 6 weeks and 6 years.

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years. You love helping them fulfil happiness through growing, development, and are committed to seeing them learn, all while having fun in a comfortable safe environment.
Hours: casual hours
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 3.1 to Level 3.4 depending on qualifications and experience - $34.36 to $37.59.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR ACECQA Equivalent
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
